My name is Joe Stemple, and I have been working with wood for more than 30 years. What began as a hobby has become one of the most meaningful pursuits of my life. This website is a collection of pieces I have made along the way and a record of where my woodworking takes me next.

What keeps me woodworking is the challenge of taking an idea—whether my own or inspired by an existing design—and turning it into something distinctly my own. I want to keep stretching my skills, exploring original design, and creating furniture and objects with beauty, character, and lasting value.

I feel deeply grateful to have the time, freedom, and opportunity to pursue woodworking. Giving back is important to me, whether that means donating my work, supporting local organizations, or using my woodworking to help causes I care about.
